My ring won't go on.....

This morning while getting ready I tried to put on my wedding ring on and it stopped half way down my finger! Lets hope it was just today! Anyone else decide to give up shoving it on everyday? When it doesn't fit what are you going to do with it? I'm thinking about wearing it as a necklace!

Mine is sitting in a bowl on the counter at home. Some days it fits, others it just hurts to wear. I wear it when I can...

I sleep with mine on...but if it stops fitting and I'm digging out the Criso to get it off, then I'll put it on a necklace most likely...and make DH buy me some cheapo lil band just to have on my finger. It drives me NUTS to not have a ring on where I usually do

Dont' shove it on! I did that my last pregnancy and my finger turned blue and I had to cut it off. Time to retire it for a while.

I take mine off every night in fear that one day they won't come off! I would hate to see my beautiful rings cut off! DH already knows that he's buying me a cheap band when they no longer fit. I am married and I want proof on my finger at all times!

i haven't had a problem yet, but i sleep with mine on and check every once in a while by sliding it off and on. if it starts to not fit, i'll more than likely buy a cheapo band and put my wedding ring away.

My fingers swelling were one of my first pregnancy signs. I have not been able to wear my wedding rings in about 2 months.

I feel so much better reading all of these posts! I thoght I was seriously gaining waaaay too much weight, too fast. I stopped wearing my engagement ring about 2 weeks ago. I have my wedding band on now. (Only because my engagment ring had been re-sized after getting engaged b/c it was too big, after we got married, I never got it sized but my engagment ring pretty much held it in place. My wedding ring fits fine now... I'm scared the day it doesnt! I'll probably go get a cheap fake one, just to wear. I wouldn't be comfortable walking around with my big basket ball and no wedding ring. lol

I woke up one morning last week and couldn't get my rings off. My fingers were so swollen. The swelling finally went down and I was able to get my engagement ring off - now I'm just wearing my band but that will prbably have to go soon too.

Ditto this exactly. I retired the engagement ring about 3 weeks ago and have just been wearing the band. It still comes off, but it leaves a pretty big indentation. I'm thinking it'll have to go pretty soon.

Mine still fit. I sleep with them on though. I can get them on and off but some days it fits more comfortably than others. If need be, I will get them resized so I can continue wearing them. I would miss my rings so bad if I couldn't wear them, and I don't think a cheapo one would really make me feel any better.
