NBR: AW: big surprise

So I come from a family that is in no way sentimental! My mom never even told me she lived me until is was 20 and had just had DS. DH on the other hand is VERY sentimental and it actaually caused us problems in the beginning because I did t know how to handle the sentiment. This being said my DH has been upset that I haven't been able to wear my wedding rings for the last week or so becuase of swelling. Everytime he would see my ring finger he would pout a little to show he was sad I didn't have it on. Well my mom actually noticed this so she out of the blue gave me her very first promise ring to wear until I could fit back into my wedding bands and it just happened to fit perfectly! DH is soo happy I'm wearing a ring again and I'm so surprised my mom would even notice let alone offer one of her rings as a substitute until mine fit again!! I just had to share becuase I thought it was very sweet of my mom!
