Help for red/chapped cheecks

DS is teething, and his poor cheeks are SO red and chapped. Does anyone know of anything safe that I can put on? Because his hands are always in his mouth, it is likely that whatever I put on him will get in there too...I tried Vaseline, but I think it trapped the heat...TIA!

I used Eucerin when DD had eczema a few months ago. My pedi recommended I try it.

With my oldest DD I found that carmex worked the best. I only used a little bit enough to cover the red spots and they would go away after just a few applications. It worked much better than vasoline but be careful to not get it too close to the eyes.

Try California Baby Calendula Cream - I've tried TONS of stuff and this is the only thing that has soothed her red cheeks. I put it on her every night after her bath and she's got super-soft, squishy cheeks!
