Over the past couple of months, I have seen a couple different posts about blue vs. pink dye pregnancy tests. If I remember correctly, blue tests were the ones that should be used.. Does the same thing work for ovulation kits? I need to start using them and when I went to the store I saw that there were at least two different kinds.. Anyone have suggestions for me?? TIA
Re: Blue Vs. Pink tests
You have it backwards. Blue tests are notorious for giving false positives.
Test with pink dye tests.
I have no clue about OPKs. My RE told me to only use OPKs that were made by clearblue.
The pink ones are better. You don't want to get the + or - tests. FRER are the popular tests.
Anything & Everything you need to know about OPKs & HTPs
You can also use tests from the dollar store. Good Luck!
I have been successful with inexpensive online OPKs (from early-pregnancy-tests.com) and confirming with a Clearblue Easy digital.
Good luck !
