We spent over $2,000 dollars on a miracle mate about 4 years ago and It's been the best vacuum anyone could ask for. This morning the head broke off and they do not manufacture that model for a replacement head.
Recommend your vacuum please and tell me why you like it!?!

Wow I would be pissed. Can they do anything for you? My lord 2000 for a vacuum and I would expect it to last a bit longer than 4 years.
I have a Dyson Slim refurbished and it works well. But today i spent 15 minutes or so cleaning out clogs, but I dont think its the vacuums fault. We have four animals, so a clog seems inevitable. But the suction is great.
I have a Bissell Pet Hair Eraser, and I recommend it to everyone I know! First off, it's very affordable! I think it sells for about $160 now. You can find it online at places like Target and Walmart. This thing sucks dirt and pet hair like nobody's buisness! The first time I used it, it was about a year after we moved into our house, and the carpets were not new when we bought the house, but the vaccuum was picking up 'new carpet' fuzz!! It disgusted me the amount of dirt, pet hair and dust that my old vac was missing! It has great attachments that are easy to use, all of the parts are easily removable and washable, and the attachment hose reaches all the way to the top of the stairs. It also has a Hepa filter. It is a little bulky, and you do have to dump the canister a lot, but that is because it picks up so much!! Good luck in your vaccuum search!
