Back pain all night - contractions?

All night i've had horrible back pain every 10-20 min or so lasting about 30 sec to 1 min. I thought maybe labor was starting. By about 7am it subsided. What should I make of all this? I haven't had any abdominal contractions, where it hurts, just tightening and I feel like I have to pee a lot from the pressure.

    Yup, probably just some "practice."  Try getting out of bed and drinking lots (seriously--LOTS) of water.  Yes, you'll have to pee all night, but it could stop the contractions.

    If they stopped, I wouldn't be worried now.  I had the same thing happen on Wed., but they didn't stop and I ended up in L&D.  If they come back again soon, I would call your dr just to be safe.
