My kid ate a pound of sand...

Or so says my daycare provider... :)  They are kids that's what they do. But he just projectile vomit all over me. Should I call & see if they are related.  What would you do?  My mom thinks I should because she is afraid he could get worms.

    I'd be questioning DCP-how supervised is he if he has enough time to eat that much sand? Yes the I would definately call the dr.

    Why did she let him eat that much sand? I know kids eat some sand, but she should've probably stopped him if he was just shoveling it in!

    I don't know that I would be concerned about worms, but I would call the pedi either way and let them know, if he truly ate that much sand, he could get an intestional blockage.

    Sorry, I guess sometimes sarcasm gets lost in typing.  I am sure that it wasn't a pound.  I guess it sounded funnier in person. But thanks for the advice.

    Was she shoveling it in his mouth???  I've never heard of the worms thing until my coworker with three boys told me about it.  I guess it's very common.  I would call the Dr.
