When do OB appts go from 4 to 2 weeks???

I forget. I'll be 28 w 1 d when I go tomorrow....will I go back in 2 weeks or 4? I remember from first 2 pg that time seemed to speed up once the drs appts became more frequent!

At 36 Weeks is when I start going every week. Time is kind of dragging for me right now so I'm hoping that things will pick up once I get to that point.

It depends on your doctor's practice and your health. I started appts every 2 weeks at 32, and I'll start weekly appointments at 36. I have friends who've started appointments every two weeks at 28.

I think it's indicitaive of your practice. I have been going every month up until 28 weeks. My next appt is 30 them 32 then 34...

I was off a bit. I had an appointment at 26 weeks, then 30 weeks, then 33weeks, and now my next one is at 35 weeks (with the remaining being 1 week apart)

It's been asked before and varied from doctor to doctor-- but I had one at 28wks, and then my next is at 30wks. However, mine mentioned at my 24 wk appt. that starting at 28wks I'd be going every two... if you haven't gotten a heads up you might still be every 4 wks.

The 11th (my next appointment) will be 2 weeks since I saw my OB last, before that I went 3 weeks without seeing him for just one week. So its gone 4 to 3 to 2 in the last 3 visits. After the 11th I see him in two weeks one more time then every week after that.

I was started on two week appts early because of blood pressure problems, but he told me that normally he would start the every two week appointments after the 28 week one.

My Doctor told me at my 28 week appointment that I'd need to come back at 32 weeks (so 4 weeks) and then make appointments 2 weeks apart for 34 and 36 weeks - then start coming every week.
