What were you at 35 weeks and beyond? Re:Internals

Just curious. What were you when you had internals at 35 weeks and beyond?

dilated? effaced? had any real contractions?

I had my first internal on Thursday and the doc said I was 50% effaced. I don't think I've ever had a contraction.

Interested to see what he says on wednesday.

35 Weeks-1.5 cm

36 Weeks- "a generous 2cm" and 50% effaced.

I was in L&D Monday and had several contrax that showed up on the monitor but I never felt them.

This is my first child. At 36 weeks I was 2cm dilated and his head was "really low". They hooked me up to the machine thing and I was having regular contractions, but they were painless. Doctor said I could continue this way for weeks, ugh.

first one they said 1cm and long. Next they said Over 1 and very short. But never gave me a % either time. This last time she didn't tell me either number just that I was making progress...

At 35 weeks I was 80% effaced and closed.

36 weeks I was 100% effaced and fingertip.

This is my first baby, so I have no idea if I will do anything else or just stay like this, but I have certainly had contractions - I was actually in PT labor twice and in the hospital with tributilene to stop them, so who knows!

i'm at 38 weeks and haven't had any internals. how common is it to have them so early anyway??

36 wks: 1/2 cm and 20%

37 wks: 2 cm and 50%

35 weeks-Closed

38 weeks- 2cm, not effaced

39 weeks- almost 3 cm, not effaced.

I have had very few contractions. They are rare and just feel like stronger BH. I feel like she is never going to come!

few weeks ago- 2.5 cms 60% effaced

two weeks- 3cms same effaced as b4

last week 4 cms and I don't even know if she told me how effaced I was. All I heard was she thought for sure I'd be delivered by Friday... yes, yesterday that is.. uuuugh!

I have been 80% effaced since 29 weeks. As of this past Tuesday I was also only a finger tip dilated...

At 35 weeks 4 days I was 1cm dilated and 70-75% effaced. My next appointment is Wed. I'll be 38 weeks 4 days, and I'm hoping for decent progress by then.

At 38wk appt this past Thursday I was about 1cm dilated, not sure how effaced. LO is head down but OB said my cervix is still posterior...meaning it hasn't moved down into position or something like that. I'm hoping for much more progress next Thursday.

37 weeks Nothing!

38 weeks Nothing again!

39 weeks still Nothing! Crying

growth ultra sound at 39 weeks estimates baby is already 9lbs 4ounces, so scheduled c-section for Tuesday at 7:30!

36 weeks: 3 cm, 50% effaced, -1 station

I hadn't had any contractions until after 35 weeks so the 2cm was a surprise to me. But now I am having them all the time and still no labor. I also have been losing my mucus plug since 36 weeks bit by bit and had my bloody show yesterday.

37 - 0 and nothing

38 - 0 and MAYBE starting to get a little soft

All in all, not a whole lot of progress. I go again Tues. and I'm not expecting much since I haven't had any contractions to speak of. At least, I don't think. Maybe a little cramping here or there, but nothing big.
