"your stomach is so small, are you sure the baby is healthy??"

AngryOMG , my boss comes to me today and says... the above words. only to be followed by, "I hope there is nothing wrong... do you think he is healthy... you dont look that pregnant" what a comment. i almost died.

    omg... some people say the stupidest sh*t.

    What if something was wrong??? Are you going to bust out and tell your boss everything right then and there? Don't know about you, but I like to keep a little spereration between my personal life and work.

    I have gotten that comment too.. people are soooo rude!! Last week a stanger let me know that a lot of twin turn out autistic... I should have punched her in the mouth!

    Yeah, I'm getting the same.  I have actually started telling people in my building that I'm 9 months pregnant, because I'm still not looking that huge (especially with an overcoat on), and I'm so worried theyll be suspicious if all of a sudden I'm walking around with a baby.

    I hear very similar to this-- including, "There's no way you're due in April", and "Do you eat?"... everyone's a doctor once you're pregnant.

    That is so bad! I got the same thing at my DD's swimming class while I'm standing in my swim suit! Drives me crazy. Like what are you supposed to say to that?

    i had a lady say that to me with my ds at my best friends shower. I wanted to punch her in the face she wouldnt let it go. She kept asking are you healthy? there is no way you can be! Your not eating enough. I was polite because she was my bfs aunt but if it was anyone else i would of let my pregnancy tantrum kick in

    ya one of the girls at work the other day said that my baby was gonna be tiny because i wasnt gaining enought weight... ppl dont seem to understand that i wasnt a toothpick to begin with so my belly isnt what it would look like on a girl whos pre-pregnancy size was a 2. i am measuring right on and the ultrasound tech said that my baby was even a little bigger... some ppl just dont know what theyre talking about

    I had someone tell me my ankles were to small to be this far along....OKAY?  They tell me "Its only in your belly..." uh I hope so were else am I suppose to be pregnant LOL or I loved this one " I think they got your dates wrong....your at least a month or two less..." UG!!!!

    I am up 20 pounds which should put me at the 25-30 mark by birth...but I will admit its all a round basketball and two new bra sizes for me:)~

    i get that comment all the time and i always respond that my dr is not concerned so i am not but thank you for being so concerned...

    Constantly! I also get one guy telling me I must be having a boy (even though 2 u/s, including one past 37 weeks have shown a girl) because of the way I'm carrying.

    DH's exwife has made comments like that.  With their DS she started out about 2 sizes smaller than me and ended up gaining about 150 lbs (that she hasn't lost 4 years later), I've gained 30.  I write it off as stupidity and jealousy.  But definitely inappropriate.
