Gonna call the Dr. soon...I think

This would be entirely too funny...especially considering we already have 10-12" of snow on the ground.  For the past 45 minutes I've been having contractions(at least I think there contractions) my stomach is super hard and uncomfortable for about a minute or so and every 4-5 minutes apart.  I'm drinking water and laying down and it's not going away so in another 15 minutes or so I'm going to call the Dr.  Hmmm....wonder if the girls at my OB office were right!  Guess I'll find out soon enough!

    Good luck!! I'm havng contractions every 3 minutes but they are bearable.. I just can't eat because I feel like I'm going to throw up. My doctor said only to go up if they're so bad I can't think through them so I'll be waiting it out for a while longer and see if they increase or I'm going to go to bed :)

    LOL! We have a ton of snow too and I've been having some intense BHs all night. Good luck!!

    Totally off topic.. DH's ex's name is Melissa and every time I see your name it makes me giggle because her old e-mail address is "Melissa n Eddie" ugh. hahah I'm sure you're nothing like her. =)

    Not yet!  I went ahead and called the doctor so I'm waiting for a call back.  I'll see what he says and go from there!  This is all new to me :)

    My OB said that with me not being dialated at my last appt and the weather being so bad she doesn't want us venturing out to the hospital until the contractions are a lot more intense to the point I feel I need pain meds.  So I'm going to go take a shower, drink some more water and see what happens.

    some people don't have super -painful contractions.... 3 min apart - i would say time to head to the L&D. I would at least call the doctor by now. Good luck to all

    When I had my DD I started having contractions at about 9:00pm, by 12:00am I knew I had to go in. They were 2 minutes apart and painful!! I had one contraction that was so bad my knees buckled I almost vomited. I know everyone is different but I'd try to stick it out at home as long as you can. Good luck girlie!
