I'm not that close, but I've been having tons of BHs the last two days. Hopefully this snowstorm doesn't send me into PTL. lol Where on the Jersey Shore are you?
Me! I'm in DC and 39 weeks. All my friends are calling me to "warn" me that storms cause labor (and they say it in a cutesy, smirky voice), and it's almost starting to piss me off because it's as if they WANT me to go into labor in one of the worse snowstorms in DC history.
I'm thanking my lucky stars I'm only 35 weeks along, AND that my hospital is 2 blocks away. As DH said--if something goes really bad, I'll pull you in a sled!

I am due in 2 weeks and the OB was joking with me yesterday that they are always busier during a snow storm. We have 4wd and only live about 2-3 minutes (on dry roads) from the hospital, so I'm not too worried. My firefighter friend promised to come get me in the ambulance if we couldn't get to the hospital on our own

I am in Baltimore and people keeping saying this to me too URRRRRR. Yesterday I was only fingertip and long well this morning I lost my MP I am hoping it means nothing no labor dust for me. I am due on Wed
We're supposed to get 16"-26" (big range) but I'm not that concerned. We live 2 miles from the hospital with 4wd if anything were to happen. Plus I was only 1cm, 50% effaced at my appt this morning, so my doctor said it was unlikely. I'm okay with that, I'm using this as an excuse to have a lazy weekend!

I'm in WV but we only live about 1 hour from DC. Everyone keeps saying that to me too. Even the doc said it could happen this weekend because of the snow. yeah right. I'll probably get all stressed out and then nothing will happen. I'll probably end up having to get induced like I did with DS. Terrible for everyone to keep "egging it on" though!
We're supposed to be getting close to 2ft of snow. I wouldn't be surprised if I went into labor during the worst part of the storm....that's just my luck. But DH has a truck and we're not too far from the hospital. Also, the hospital has a free ambulance service for patients.
Re: Anyone in the "blizzard zone" and....
Point Pleasant area...you?
I know the area..I had a ton of friends who went to Stockton.
You guys are getting even more snow than we are. Ugh. Just don't shovel! lol
Lol No way will I be shoveling.
DH has already pre-salted our walkway and he will shovel us out when we're ready to leave. haha
Hahah that's awesome!
