glider question

I'm sure this is a dumb question, but I've just started looking online at furniture (haven't been to stores yet) and I noticed most brands that make cribs/changing tables do not also have matching gliders. 

For those buying a glider, once you get in the stores is it easy to find something that matches?

    I've never seen a "matching" glider per se ... there's usually the cribs, dressers, chest of drawers, changing tables section and then there's the "glider section" ... I'm assuming that you're talking "wooden glider" and not upholstered ... yeah, people just find what "matches" their furniture ... white, antique, espresso, cherry, nude, black, etc. or they go upholstered and find something that compliments thier bedding, etc. 

    I'm not sure if I answered your question ... perhaps its because I never thought of a "matching" glider ... just wanted something that complimented the nursery ... in our case, we went with an upholstered glider ... didn't try to match the wood ...

    Not sure if it helps, but in addition to what the PP said, when we bought our glider from BRU they had several different wood and neutral fabric styles available (like white, off-white, brown, tan, etc).

    Thanks, that helps!  We have a small room, so not enough space for a fully upholstered glider, unfortunately.
