March of Dimes, "Team Haleigh"

Hi ladies...  I see alot of newbies out there. In case we don't know each other - I was on this board quite a bit... but, had to pull back and take a decent size bump break until we ttc again...

As many of you all know, DH and I  tragically lost our daughter this past August. We have decided to do a 6 mile walk for the March of Dimes on April 24th in honor of our little baby girl, Haleigh. Their mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality. As you may imagine, this is very near and dear cause to our hearts.

In honor of our daughter's memory, we have created Team Haleigh. In addition to walking, we have also committed to raising $1,000.00 for the March of Dimes  in our honor of daughter. Every single dollar counts... so, if you care to donate anything at all- it would be a HUGE help.

Also, the March of Dimes does annual walks all over the US. If you want to get involved - or know someone who might- chances are there is a walk near you too.

If you are interested in learning more- PM me and I will forward you some links (Team Haleigh and/or walks in your areas).

    Dana- I would love for you to join us. We are also going to have a BBQ at our house afterwards to celebrate. You are more than welcome to join us during that as well. I will PM you w/ all the details.

    I miss you guys too. It is just hard for me to do it much anymore. DH is pretty dead set on NOT ttc for quite a while... and I am sooo ready... Being here was just getting painful- I guess you could say. Just a reminder of a sour subject. I do miss you ladies the most, however. Work has me pretty busy these days- but, will lighten up in the summer- so, hopefully I will be back then... and hopefully I will be lurking about your progress over at PAL.
