What type of at-home party would you rather attend?

A wine tasting party(where you bring your favorite bottle of wine) or a chocolate tasting party(where a chocoltier bring all the tastings and you most likely will be purchasing)Which one sounds more fun??

Re: What type of at-home party would you rather attend?

  • Wow.

    That's a tough one.

I would say wine. You should make this clicky.

    This!

  • I should say that even if I host a chocolate party, there will be wine served as well so I guess it would be the best of both worlds for the wine/chocolate lovers.
  • Definitely the wine tasting party.

  • I hate any kind of party where the underlying theme is that someone is selling you something. It makes me feel awkward for attending and not wanting to spend any money, and 'awkward' does not make for a fun party.

If wine-tasting or chocolate-buying are your only 2 options, I'd go with wine tasting.

  • chocolate, but I don't drink wine.

  • Well, the wine tasting party would be basically free or totally cheap for the guests. All you do is bring your fave bottle of wine and you possibly leave with another fave to buy on your own.  The chocolate party is through a company and with the economy, I wasn't sure if that was a very good idea.
  • Can you combine them? Pretty please?

If I had to choose, I'd say wine, but it's a tough call.

This!  Have everyone bring a bottle of wine AND have a chocolatier come with chocolate that people can buy if they want.

When is this party?  I need to block off my calendar.
