what am i doing wrong? I am cooking one section at a time at 350 like the box says. In order to get the middle done the edges get really brown. Help!

the ends are hard and dark

your oven may run hot....i would either try with reducing the heat and/or making sure you rotate the pan and move it around in the oven every so often. all ovens have hot spots.

Is it the silicone one? I bake both sections together on a cookie sheet at 325 for about 30 minutes. I don't remember exactly how long, but the bottom takes a lot longer than the top. I just keep checking for doneness every 5 minutes or so past 20 mins. Mine come out perfect golden on the outside. I also spray the mold with cooking oil. HTH
