I was on this board about a year ago but I took a break because I was driving myself crazy. A month after discovering our first IF issue we lost our insurance coverage and couldn't move forward with any further testing. I am re-introducing myself because we are now eyeball deep in IF issues. We haven't told anyone about TTC or our IF issuses so I'm coming back to the boards for info and support.
So here's the scoop: Last October (when we had insurance again) DH saw a urologist that specializes in fertility. Morph, motility and count issues. Urologist refered us to an RE recommending IUI. We saw the RE last Wednesday and lucky for me my cycle timing was perfect. I had bloodwork done on Monday and today I had a gyne scan and HSG test. All the staff warned me that there might be cramping (which I had none) but they didn't warn me that it would hurt during! WOW it was painful. The RE said that my left tube is not open but that my right is. He said I have PCOS. I also have pre-existing thyroid issues (under control with meds). DH goes in for another SA on Monday. Our follow up appointmnet is scheduled for 2/22. Based on these new bits of information I am VERY anxious to get a full report. I fear that between now and the 22nd I am going to drive my self nuts dwelling on the "what-if's"! So don't be surprised if you see me posting!
Re: Re-introducing Myself
Welcome back! Love your siggy picture!!
Sounds like you have a lot of information to digest. It's great that you're finding some answers, and yes, it is scary- but I'm sure you'll be able to figure out your options/plan.
Looking forward to your posts!

Thanks! It is scary. Ever since seeing the RE last Wednesday our IF has become a GIANT reality for us. It's overwhelming. I think the nurse thought I was a wimp after my HSG because I was crying...I wasn't crying from pain (that was over) I was crying about the closed tube. Just another nail in the IF reality coffin.
Thank you IVF for our little miracles!!
Welcome back! good luck with this next cycle. Oh and FWIW I'm sure we all drive ourselves nuts with this IF stuff.
Good luck and post away!
