taxes vent

Ok, we're supposed to get the first time home buyers tax credit this year. We filed for it back in October or November. I just went to the IRS website to check on my refund, and I can't find it anywhere! There seems to be no record of it at all.

Also, we're still waiting on THREE  W2 forms from previous employers. Most of my friend already have their money back, much less still waiting to get their paperwork in! I hate it when they wait til the very last second to get their stuff done. We could put that money to good use people!

    At least you'll be getting a decent refund. We owe the Fed, with a small refund from state Stick out tongue Taxes suck...

    I was going to say the same thing!  We just wrote several checks to the IRS.  At least you are getting something!  I'm jealous!

    I'm still waiting on my W2 . . . it is really annoying! I'm hoping we'll get a decent refund, especially since we had DD last year. I'm getting impatient :)

    First of all law states that tax forms have until the 31 of January to be mailed so you should be receiving them shortly so don't be stressing. Dont know what to tell you bout your home tax credit but just watned to fill you in on that one piece of info. Plus if you have moved and put in a forwarding address it may take a little longer to get to you.

    That sucks!

    We have had our money for a week now.  I cant wait for next year when we get to claim this baby!

    Be happy that you got a refund- we owe the Feds over $1200. Can't wait to take that dependent credit next year!
