  Hm, I don't know about side effects, but this does seem a little unusual to me. DD has never wanted to eat her poop, but what do I know, maybe she's the unusual one..? At least in adults, I know that this can be a sign of certain vitamin deficiencies.

  LOL!!!!!! Well, the other day, I heard Jackson munching on something behind the couch. I went over, and he's eating dried cat puke!!! I too am hoping that's not THAT bad!!! Gotta love boys!

  Lol, there was no "letting" involved... there was pinning hands down with all my strength as I tried to reach for more wipes... the kid was on a mission!

  Poop is just digested food, so he is redigesting his own food. It would be more of an issue if he ate someone elses or a pet's poop due to possible disease transmission (but not his own).
