  be careful because even if a phone is not activated it can still dial 911, (thats what they do with donated phones they give them to abuse shelter for women). also make sure its not  one that anything can chip off like buttons or the plastic coating.

  Seriously?  I did not know that.

  Yep the 911 thing is true. Our dog basically destroyed one of my phones, there was slobber everywhere. However it would still call 911.
