Craig is a beast.

DH posted an extra bass guitar and amp he has at 8:45 PM on Craig's List.

He already sold it, and he is on the way to meet the guy at 10:00 at a very public and busy bar {I'm paranoid}.

Insane.

We've sold things before, but nothing has ever gone that quickly.

...and the guy was willing to pay even more than DH listed it at so that DH would get it to him tonight.

Something about his kid's birthday tomorrow...

    I'm with you on the internet paranoia. It's crazy here too, especially since it's a military community. Stuff goes within hours.

    One time I met someone who bought some books I had listed in front of Macy's in the mall.

    DH didn't live here then.

    I am very weird about the whole thing.  One of the things we are selling the person HAS to pick up here, because it won't fit in the car.

    I told DH he has to invite a friend over, and I can't be here if/when he sells that.

    Maybe it's because I live in a very safe area, but I have always had people just come to my house to pick things up.

    I would never be home by myself though. DH has been home alone before and (obv) has had no problems.

    If I didn't live in Atlanta I may be OK with this.

    Unfortunately ATL isn't safe.
