how are those furbabies doin? Were you able to get bess to drink her pedialyte?

    They are on the mend.  Allistair is all better.  Bess has a slight fever still but will not drink orange pedialyte from a bowl.  Elton has a touch of it... but not as badly as the two of them.

    The bad part is that we discovered.. in the course of everything else... that Bess has a congenital leg defect common to yorkies.  We apparently have to get her knee surgery asap.  So I guess I will be spending my maternity leave taking care of a recovering dog as wellIndifferent

    Im doing great! I cannot believe that you and kari are getting sooooo close! how freakin exciting!!!!!

    ughhhh.....Im sorry about bess. That stinks! Does it cause her a lot of problems now?  Glad the rest are feeling better!

    I know!!! I can't believe how far we have all come.

    Her knee has popped out of joint at least three times tonight... which means that we don't really have a choice.  The doctor says she will have bad arthritis and lameness as she ages if we don't act:(
