It was 2 years total, 1 year of infertility treatments and IVF to conceive #1.
#2 was the first ovulation post-weaning.
We were told we had a 4% chance - EVER - without medical intervention and maybe a 15 - 20% chance with IVF again. They told us to be prepared for #1 to be an only.
Fast forward to 2 more unmedicated pregnancies after #2 - both ending in miscarriage - and I truly believe #2 is an amazing miracle.
I wish you a shorter journey the second time around.
Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
It took us two years and two IUI's to get our first. With this one I went of bc, weren't really trying during that time (5 months) but this last month we just timed it right.
It took us about three months for pg #1 that ended in m/c. Then a year to conceive our daughter who we lost at birth in June. I'm pg again now. First cycle trying. Hopefully this is our happy, healthy, sticky pg
It took us 2 years and Clomid to get pg with DS1. We got pg with DS2 our second month not trying, but not preventing and 2 weeks after I weaned DS1. Good luck!
It took us 14 months and injectables/IUI to get pregnant with DS1. We knew we wanted two close together so I went right back to the doctor for #2. For DS2 it took 2 cycles of injectables/IUI to get pregnant. So it was much faster the second time, but I still needed medical help and we knew what worked last time so we just went right back to that. Good luck!
I think sometimes that's how so many of us got into this situation. Took us 2 years with #1 and I was pg with #2 when my first was 6 months! Good luck!

Good luck to you!
This is almost exactly my story, except DD took longer than year, and there was a miscarriage along the way before DD.
