Can we talk blenders for a second?

My blender ALWAYS leaves 2-3 balls of ice when I make drinks. Never fails.

Does my blender suck or do they all do this?

I worked @ Baskin Robbins in high school and never remembered theirs doing that but then again those are industrial style.

I use my magic bullet more often then the blender. No ice chunks in the bottem.... Maybe the blade needs to be replaced?

I have a Cuisinart blender and it seems to take some work. I blend, I open it and stir by hand, blend again. That's the only way I am chunk free.

I sold my Magic Bullet in a garage sale because I hated having all of those cups everywhere. I couldn't figure out how to store them w/o them flying all over the place when I needed something out of the cabinet they were in. Kinda like lids to plastic storage containers!

Maybe they do need to be replaced. We got it as a shower gift and our 4th anniversary is coming up.

I begged dh for a blender for christmas b/c i was tired of the ice in my smoothies just spinning in circles. My new one crushes the ice in 10 seconds. Its pretty amazing

Fab - I do that too and still manage to miss some. Maybe I need to be more diligent with my blend, stir, repeat method...

Oooh, that is the one we have! I haven't tried to crush ice with it yet. Good to know it works!

Our new blender does an awesome job of crushing ice - our old one was terrible. We have an Oster Fusion with an all-metal drive. We got it at Target for like $60-$70.

We have a Kitchen Aid blender. Its a bit pricey at about $100 but we use it everyday and have had it for 3 years. Love!

It is VERY cheesy but it really does make ice into snow, lol. It's the only product other than the Shark I have bought and it actually works the way it says it will on the commercial.

When my mom died she had this old ugly Osterizer blender. I had a kitchen aide that I hated so I figured, hey why not? I'll try the old one. Works like a dream. This thing is seriously 30 years old. I remember it from when I was a kid.

That is awesome! Just goes to show that they don't make stuff the way they used to!
