Bedding question

I could ask this on the nurseries board, but rather ask you ladies.

Would this bedding be appropriate for a boy?  I want to get a gender neutral bedding set.

Note: If I got this one, I would not have a ruffle bed skirt, I?d have her make a flat/straight bed skirt.  Also, I?d probably get the bed skirt made in a solid color fabric with maybe a trim of patterned fabric.

Re: Bedding question

  • eh, it's pretty girly.  Really pretty - but too girly IMO.

  • I don't think it's very gender neutral, I would lean more towards girlie.
  • I LOVE that set! It does look a little girly, but may work for a boy I guess.

    I agree.

  • Ok - thanks.  I'm having such a hard time finding gender neutral bedding in a green color (that's not bright lime green), that's also not a theme.  I want green walls.

  • Thanks ladies!

I am leaning towards gender neutral so I won't have to buy another set if/when we have baby #2.  But who knows, maybe I'd want to change it out by baby #2.

  • I think it's pretty girly. Not that he will know the difference.

I think this is more gender neutral than the original.  I like both.

  • I'm going to side on the opinion of girly.  Pretty, but girly.

Am I the only one confused by the pillow?  Who puts a decorative pillow in a crib?

  • I like the second option better for gender neutral. The first one is just too girly.
  • Yeah the first choice is a little too girly, the second one would be a better choice for gender neutral

I think one is totally neutral! It's very nice.
