Biblical names with a twist?

So DH and I really like unique names. Our faith is important to us so I wouldn't mind using a biblical name. I know some names may turn you off by sounding 'too made up'. Any suggestions for a biblical name with a twist or one that is not heard of often?

Need idea's for a DS or DD... Thanks! :)

    Boy or girl names.  The only one I can think of is Ezekiel.

    My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

    Girls: Mahala/Mahalia, Selah, Noa, Salome, Samara (one of my favs)

    Boys: Abraham (not as popular these days more Abrams), Bartholomew, Ebenezer (Ben), Ephraim, Jericho, Phineas, Zedekiah.

    My brother-in-law LOVES the name Boaz, but since they have had all girls they haven't been able to use it yet!  Also, how about Tabitha for a girl?  It's not heard very often at all!

    Daughter #1 - February 12, 2010 

    natural m/c March 11, 2011 at 8 1/2 weeks 

    Daughter #2 - January 11, 2012 

    Ectopic pregnancy discovered November 6, 2012 at 6 weeks

    Daughter #3 - January 19, 2014

    Started our exploration into the world of international adoption June 2012.  We have no idea what this is going to look like but we are excited to find out!

    My son is Gideon Joseph. The next boy will be Ephraim James. I also love Ezekiel but we dont care for the nick name Zeke. 

    For girls I love Selah, Shiloh and Honor. Unfortunately my husband says no celebrity baby names.

    The one that comes to mind is the one we want to use for our little boy's middle name. It is Makaiah. Pronounced Mah-kai-uh. It is spelled Micaiah and is Hebrew - it means "one who is like God"...

    We named our LO Selah. :)  I love Karis, too. (Greek for "grace.")

    Love Ezekiel for a boy. Also a big fan of Micah and Amos.

    I have a friend who just named her little girl Moriah. Her other DD is Abigail. She wants 5/6 kids and told me they will all have Biblical names. I think it's really neat! 

    Boy: Zechariah, Aaron, Seth, Emmanuel, Ezekiel, Joel, Amos, Jonah, Micah, Isaac, Isaiah, Jedidiah, Josiah, Obadiah, Philip, Solomon, Titus, Jeremiah

    My all time favorite non-traditional Biblical name is Eden, with Selah as a close second.  DH vetoed Eden though.  I really wanted Eden Joy.

     For a boy, my favorite non-traditional Biblical name is Canaan.
