How desperate have I become that I get excited over an evap

So, I printed out like 10 of those $5 off EPT coupons.  I bought one pack of digitals with it, but then I just started getting the single tests so I pay like 50 cents for them.  Since I LOVE to pee on stuff, I started this morning (7/8 dpo) knowing I would get a BFN and ok with that.  BFN don't depress me until like 12/13 dpo.

Peed on it.  Waited about 9 minutes.  It's a BFN.  Obviously.  Rip it apart.  put it up to the light, BFN.  Wait like a half hour, still BFN.

Of course, like 10 hours later when I'm cleaning up the bathroom and look at it again to see a bright blue, obviously, evap or something else line.  Totally in the wrong spot instead of looking like:  +  it looks like:

--|----------  Which is totally wrong.


And for some reason, while knowing it was a BFN, I got slightly excited, like somehow, this was a sign lol.

I need help...

    LOL I'm right with ya,I took a $1 one last week and it was BFN.Hubby swears he seen a really faint 2nd line.I broke out the digital camera and took pics and its got an odd 2nd line which Im assuming is the evap line lol

    I always see something on the dollar store tests.  I have decided that I can see the sample well (a slight depression in the test) rather than a line.  It drives me crazy!

    Denise, I know exactly how you feel.  I am going to be a POASaholic in about 4 days or so, and it's going to be bad.  I hope that you get a nice strong positive (with no funny evap lines) very soon!

    I completely understand. It's so hard not to be excited when you see sometime that gives you a bit of hope.

    Alright ladies, I think I have fallen prey to the evap line..today I POAS and I thought I saw the slightest line about 3-minutes after..it was  First Response test, the one that can tell you 6 days early..I am 3-5 days away from AF.....was this probably an evap line? I hope not..I was so excited..peeing again tomorrow morning in hopes of a clearer answer.....
