too many bubbles in washer

any advice for what to do with lots of extra bubbles in the washer? we just got a new machine...must have used too much detergent. i put it on quick rinse and spin cycle twice and the bubbles are still there...suggestions?

The only time I've seen too many bubbles is when someone mistakenly put the hand wash soap in the washer instead of the washer specific soap and I know its a PITA to get rid of the bubbles

I would just put it through another whole cycle with no detergent. Is your new washer HE? If so, your washer may loosen up residual detergent in your clothes so use even less than the HE amount for the first few loads.

yes, it is HE so I will keep that in mind. and i definitely didn't use hand soap! thanks for the suggestions...i've never had this problem before!

Is your new washer he? If so you need to get he detergent to keep it from bubbling up like that. I would just keep rinsing it until the bubbles are gone.

If you are trying to finish your regular detergent, that's what will happen. You need to use he detergent only. Good luck!
