Got Laid Off.....

on Friday and it totally sucks!  I'm pissed off and upset about it.  I am super pissed that I have to look for to look for work, but I am more pissed in the way that they did the layoff.  I've worked in HR for a long time and let a lot of people go, and I never made them feel like crap like my boss did.   They waited all day and until 4:00 p.m. to tell me and the gave no severance (which I know is never a for sure thing) and then didn't even let me say goodbye to anyone, let the people that I work with outside of the company that I know, or tie up any loose ends for them etc. etc.  I mean it was all said and done in like 10 minutes.  They had to move on to the next person they had to lay off after me.  It made me feel like Sh*t.

 We might lose our spot at daycare which sucks if I can't find something soon and something that pays somewhat close to what I was making before.  I'm home today with Grace which is nice updating my resume with one hand and holding her with another.  She doesn't ever nap so it will be a long day of looking for work and playing mom today.

Just wanted to vent a bit..thanks for listening.
