I just started seeing a new Dr. last month and they decided to change a lot. One of the things is that I stopped taking my asthma medicine [Asmanex 2x Daily] (with my previous dr.'s ok).

Well... They told me to get back on my meds, actually they demanded it. I haven't had any asthma problems other than the usual going from a cold climate and getting adjusted to a warm one.

I started taking my Asmanex 2x a day on Friday, and today I have noticed that is is making my throat sore, sensitive, and mucus'y'. And, it hurts to swallow. I know the meds are causing this, because I am not 'sick' feeling in any other way.

WWYD???

    Call your doctor... maybe they can either take you off of it again or prescribe you a lower dose.

    Call your doctor back. If it IS the meds, then maybe they can tell you how long it should last or if it's normal. Maybe you needed to ease back into it with lower doses???

    I would call the Dr's office and tell them that. Ask if you can go off it again, as you were doing fine without it before.
