in 1st Trimester

says she gave birth to her son in her bathtub, and "it didn't hurt a bit"

anyone believe that last part?  i don't, for a second.  she says she wanted to be home and didn't want to be all drugged up.  that's all well and good, but i can't imagine there wasn't any pain.

    I believe her.  Everyone's birth experience is different.  I have friends who have said their labor wasn't painful, some describe pressure vs. pain, and some describe immense pain.  It just depends.

    I don't believe that there wasn't any pain. Even women who learn how to hypnotize themselves usually say that there was discomfort at some point. I've never been impressed with her -- I always thought she seemed condescending, inconsiderate, and disingenuine. I just don't think half of what comes out of her mouth is completely true. It seems like she's always trying to impress and say what she thinks people want to hear. She certainly doesn't have an ounce of the class Heidi Klum does.

    I can't believe that she didn't have any pain.  Granted, I've never gave birth and I don't have a lot of experience with friends or family that have had water births, but I can't imagine that there is absolutely no pain.  I mean, you're pushing a baby out your vag.  It has to hurt a bit.

    Some yes, some no.  One of the ones who said she had no pain is a 2x homebirth/waterbirth mama.  She said she was on such an endorphin high she was screaming about being a rockstar. lol

    I do.

    My grandmother never had a single pain when giving birth to her four kids.  She literally had her first at home b/c she had no "typical" signs of labor.

    She knew what to expect for the next 3 but still barely made it to the hospital all three times.

    Everyone is different.
