We have a 3 year old named Owen and are toying with the idea of either of these names for a first name for DS #2.
Gibson
Finn
Our last name is 3 syllables, begins with M and is portugese by origin (we are both as pasty white as they come so don't let that last name fool you!)
We want a name that is not super popular but not unheard of either.
Just in case you have any other ideas, my 2 favorite unusable names are Beckett and Burke but we agreed on no B or M first names. We don't need another BM (DH is Brent) and BIL and I are MM and we don't particularly like the alliteration.
We haven't even begin to look for a middle name but want it something a little funkier...Owen's middle name is Knox. DH went to UT in Knoxville and there is someone on my side named Knox and we both liked it. Suggestions would be appreciated.
Re: Which sounds better with Owen?
Finn, for sure.
As for middle names...
Finn Nolan.
Finn Cooper.
Finn Tucker.
Finn Ezra.
Finn Gable.
Finn Jarrett.
Finn Ragnar.
Finn Sawyer.
Finn Walker.
Finn Enzo.
Finn is preferred over Gibson, which to me, is a last name. As for middle names...I'm not to good at coming up with funky, but how about Finn Beckett?
Finn Manning
I should throw in I went to Vandy and I hate UT. Just that color of orange makes me nauseated.
Finn Harper?
And I agree about the orange and puking. Bleh. I went to UK and my brother went to Vandy Law--I lived in Nash for several year up until summer when I moved to Louisville. Booo UT.
