This has been the worst weekend of my entire life, hands down.
Last night, my H left to meet some friends out as I was putting the girls to bed. I put Emi (16mo) down in her crib, and she rolled right over as she always does. I went into my 3 year old's room to read her some books. I heard the baby clanging out, making a lot of noise. I went into her room, and she just seemed WILD, no other way to describe it. She had actually chewed the crib down to the wood in those few minutes.
I picked her up, and the wildness continued. She clawed my face, hit me, pulled my hair. I cradled her, she was hysterical crying. She arched her back, and threw her hands back, and it was like she just FROZE. No crying, not blinking, completely stiff. Then I realized that her lips were turning blue. I paniced. I started to do the heimlich, thinking maybe she was choking. Nothing. I started CPR. Nothing. Finally, I ran down the stairs with her in this state to call 911. She slowly started breathing shortly after.
At the hospital, she was acting fine. They did a head CT, and bloodwork, and all was clear. We have an appt tomorrow with our pedi, who will send us to a neurologist (hopefully tomorrow as well) who will do some tests to determine if she did have a seizure.
Of course, I realize that it could be a handful of things, or nothing at all, but I am freaking out.

Terrifying!!
HUMC's EMU is awesome at diagnostics. Also, ask your pedi about Dr. Sherbany https://www.pedneuro.net/officeinfo.php
He was awesome with DS when he was diagnosed with infantile seizures at just 6 weeks old.
I'm so sorry that happened. I cannot imagine the fear you experience.
I hope and pray that it is something that was a one time thing and you get some answers.
(hugs)
