He's on his way home. Well first he's getting a haircut because he's pretty wooly, and then picking up lunch, and THEN he'll be home. I don't know what their commander did to get them released but I'm fairly certain he offered to pay for it. I should bake the man some cookies or something.
But YAAAAY he won't be at work for a week (or more) without coming home!
Re: Finally... the prisoner has been released
It's not until this summer, but they have a shiitload of training between now and then and will be gone a lot (anywhere from one night to 5 weeks) so that made this stupid lockdown thing even more frustrating. I mean really let's take away a week or more of the little bit of time these guys have left with their families over a stupid GPS. ::rolls eyes::
Friday, but they were in and out of the field all last week so I think I saw him a total of 2 hours from Monday-Friday anyway.
Children's Place was packed and we stood in line forever, but got a lot of stuff for next winter (including their heavy coats) for under $60. I'd call it a success.
Not that I'm happy either of them have to be deployed (again) but YAY for having a deployment buddy on the board.
