  • 4 - 5 feedings of 7 - 8 oz (28 - 40oz a day) according to the Similac Feeding Chart

  • I leave 3 bottles of EBM while at work.  Each bottle has 7.5oz in it.  He also nurses for two to three additional feedings.

  • Thanks so much!  Samantha has been eating about 5 times/ day and takes about 6-7oz each time.  I guess she is right on track.  I was just concerned because anytime anyone asks how much she eats they are always so surprised by how much she is taking.  I guess I can just chalk it up to outside advice and people ignorance.  I love unsolicited worry!  Thanks so much ladies!

  • LO has always been big so he was about 19 lbs at 4 months and drank 6-7 oz every 4 hours. Now he's more than 20 lbs and drinks 8 oz every 4 hours plus couple tablespoons of baby food in between. He's a hungry monkey! I think it depends on your baby's weight. If she's hungry after a feeding, go ahead and give her more, babies shouldn't be on a diet :)
