tells me how tired I look I am going to scream.  Last weekend i saw my mil and the other day she calls and she tells me how she thought I looked so tired.  Everytime I see them they think I look tired.  I have Hashimoto's thyroiditis (have had it for 15 years) and crohn's disease....of course I look tired.  Plus a baby teething.  Just venting but I have autoimmune diseases and I am almost 30 with a teething baby I am going to look tired.  I thought I looked good last weekend....I guess I didn't UGH.  Thanx for letting me vent.

    That sucks!  But try to look at it this way (and I'm saying this not knowing how your MIL made that comment) she may have said it out of concern and maybe even as an offer to watch LO so you can rest.  Maybe you got immediately offended/upset therefore not giving her the opportunity to offer some babysitting services.  That's just my brightside 2 cents.

    My mom says the same thing, and reminds me of how pale I look.   She also likes to ask me how DS slept every single day.  I would love to one day be able to tell her he STTN!
