  I was 28 when we conceived. No history of twins that I know of. My mom says my grandfather had it on his side. Mine are fraternal.

  38 - Identical twins - so not 2 eggs for me, just 1 that split.

  My lovely DH has a theory on why we had indentical twins.

  He feels like it is this whole big nature thing, where my body knows that it has a limited time to have life, so my eggs split so that we got double.

  Yeah - I don't go to him for medical advice -EVER!

  I am 22 and having spontaneous twins. They dont run in my family.

  I was 28 when i got pg. Spontaneous boy/girl twins. They do run in my family, there are 5 sets now.

  I was 28 when I got pregnant with twins. There is one set in my family, but they're fraternal and ours are identical (so from what I understand, it's completely random and there's no genetic predisposition for it).
