NBR: Oh BGE Man

We have a chronic gas line issue with water getting into the line.  Well today was one of those days and BGE came to blow the water out so we can turn our heat back on.  We he busted the water line into the house in the process of taking the gas meter off the wall....making a little issue a bigger issue.  Oh how I love BGE.

    I'm an engineer who works with water utilities.  I would suggest you not let them fix the waterline unless they can prove they are a licensed plumber in your city.  You can call your city hall and check the listing.

    Otherwise, make them pay for a licensed plumber because it's really easy to do a shoddy quick fix and you'll never get them back out there to fix it correctly when you need it.

    Oh no worries!  They called a licensed plumber without me even saying anything.  The BGE guy felt SUPER guilty.
