A lil bit antsy about sex

in 2nd Trimester

DH is coming home this weekend, after being away for a month.  When he left, I was almost 11 weeks, and couldn't even kiss him goodbye because I barfed while driving him to the plane.

Now, I'm just a little bit bigger, and feeling much better.  The preg books seem to say that some women have the best sex of their lives in 2nd tri, while others just aren't into it.

Sooo... what about everyone else?  I'm a bit worried, for vague reasons I can't really place.

    At 14weeks I wasn't into sex at all still, I made sacrafices for DH haha.  But once I hit 20+weeks I was all about it & still am.

    I hear ya... I have made poor DH go this whole time with out sex and feel bad. I am alos worried for reasons I can't place but know that I need to just give it a try.

    IDK what to say because we haven't had sex since I found out I was pregnant. I have an appointment on Monday and if all is ok, I will make an attempt to do it.. I'm not really in the mood though.

    We had sex once or twice in the 1st trimester and it was great, but afterwards I felt sick.  But now that the nausea was gone, I definitely got my mojo back.  Now, if I want it, I have to have it, and I wasn't like that before.  And it just hits me all of a sudden.  It's different that it was before but just as good!  Wink

    DH and I are living in seperate cities, due to business, until my move next month. We've only seen each other once a month for the past six months. We've had sex during our 4-5 day visits with each other but by the time our mini-vacays are over, I'm ready for a physical vacay. It'll be interesting to see how things go when we're back in the same household again.

    I love pregnant sex!!  Not as much before 16ish weeks because I cramped after O, but from then on....best orgasms ever Yes

    I'm loving pregnant sex! We don't do it often, but when we do...it's worth the wait. My only complaint is that afterward my girly parts seem pretty sore for a day or two. I'm chalking it up to increased genital blood flow making everything more sensitive.

    I'm SOOO not into it. We finally did it last night for his sake, but I was really not into it. But, I hear that for some women, pregnant sex is awesome!

    Sex for me has been slightly uncomfortable and even painful at times this pregnancy.  Things that help me: lots of lube, foreplay, asking him to put it in slowly and start slowly so I can adjust my hips to where it's most comfortable, or going on top so that I can control it myself.  If all goes right it feels REAL good!

    We've only done it once since I've been pregnant, but we are now also not allowed to have sex since I have placenta previa.  I feel bad, but we have to do what's best for LO.

    Just go with what feels good. I think it varies from person to person, but if you're all stressed about it, it's probably not going to be as good. Just relax.

    DH and I have done it probably every other day or so since we got pregnant, except when I've felt sick. Since about two weeks ago, it has been better than ever!
