how many children do you want?

I was just wondering if you could have as many kids as you wanted, age, money and fertility aside? How many would you want?

I use to want 4- ( I am from 6 kids and my husband is from 8) now I am just not so sure.

I say 2-3. DH says 3-4. So we'll probably compromise at 3 assuming it's affordable and we can handle it.

I've always thought just two - so we will see - DH and I both have one sibling each. I think the most I could possibly do is 3, but that will all depend on how this first one goes. I definitely want to wait a while before we even think about having a second.

You know how when you're young you plan out how you want your life to be? I've always had mine planned out to where I get married around 23 and have my first kids (twins... girl and boy) at 25, then another girl at 27. Well, I got married at 20 and I'll be 21 when I have this peanut, so we'll see if I stick with 3 kids or not.

3, maybe 4! It depends on how things are financially. We definitely want to be able to send our kids to college and provide for them in that way so we'll see.

I'm from a family of 5 but DH only has one sister who's quite a bit younger so he really wants a big family!

Money aside, I'd have 6. Realistically I want 4, my H wants 2, so we compromised on 3. I'm sad I'll probably only have one more pregnancy and newborn after this one.

DH and I both always said we only wanted 2. Now that I am pregnant with #2, I have talked about getting my tubes tied during my c-section (he was ok with it in the past), but now DH isn't so sure. I still only want 2.
