Re: WDYT..name Brynlea

  • I know someone named Brinley and I love that name!  Beautiful...my only concern with the spellings Brinlea and Brynlea is that people might mistake it for "Brynn-leah"...what do you think?

  • Brynlea would be confusing. They might say "Brynle-ah"

I like Brynlee. Its more obvious on how to pronounce it.

I agree with PP. I would spell it Brinley to avoid confusion. I really like it!

  • Love the name...might have to add it to my own list! (sorry)!

I like the spelling on Brinley & Brynlea - but agree with PP about that "leah" bit

  • No Sorry but seriously can you imagine the kids poor teachers trying to pronounce that.
  • I agree with the Le-ah part. its too bad bc Brynlea looks so pretty to me...second best is Brynlee i guess? Maybe I'd have to just stick to Brinley

    Next up...convince DH

  • Sorry, but I don't like that name at all. I'm more of a traditional name kinda girl

this! I love the name and I love the spelling Brinley.

  • i like the sound of it, but not the spelling 'brynlea'.  i do like brinlea the best of the three choices.  i personally would spell it brinlee, though, for pronunciation purposes.

  • I love this name! I agree with spelling it differently. I mentioned this name to my s/o the other day and hes not sure what middle name would work with it..What were you going to put with it?
  • It was my # 1 pick for a girl. I was going to spell it Brynnlee. Love it!
  • Well I'm naming my daughter Brynn, so I definitely LOVE that ;)  I don't like Brynnlea (in any spelling) but Brynlee is cute.

  • It's NMS but those spellings are horrible.  If you have to have it then I suppose Brynlee is the least bad of the 3.
  • At first glance, I read it as Bryn-leah.  If you want it to be pronounced like Brinley, I'd spell it ending in -ey or -ee.

    Hth!
