I did part of it and did see good results. Bad results on my milk supply, though, so I stopped. It's an awesome workout, especially for only being 20 minutes long!
I didn't really see any results, but I still thought it was a great 20 minute workout. I would break a good sweat. I never finished the entire 30 days though.
Light weights and a mat (only if you aren't exercising on carpet or a rug).
I've done day 1!!! ha ha. I did it without weights and I was sore the next day. BUT I am extremely out of shape. I think if I keep it up, I will see results for sure.

this. i stopped doing it cause it was seriously hurting a random muscle in my leg I guess I didn't normally use... to the point I was having trouble walking.
I like to have 5-lb and 3-lb weights for that workout and a yoga mat.
I think it's a nice little workout for 20-minutes. Not a lifesaving, this is all you will ever have to do, but just a general add to the rotation for when 20 minutes is all you have.
it's a good place to start, especially if you haven't exercised in a bit. a few different weights (3 and 5 are probably good) and floor space, that's all you need.
I had issues with my knees, just a warning! GL though, be prepared to be sore the following day (or 3!).

I got results in that I got so bored and irritated with Jillian that I after two weeks got off my butt and went back to the gym.
Other than that, no.
I think there is an option to mute her.
Haha. Yeah, I did that. The sad thing was that after the first few days I had her spiel memorized and when I muted her, I just heard her in my head.
My DH still does the workout sometimes and I'll pass through and immediately know what she's about to say. "That is a false message of lethargy" has become a catchphrase in our house.
word of advice - I suggest working out on the ground floor as opposed the the 2nd floor. there are quite a bit of jumping jacks and other exercises...the house may or may not shake when I'm working out.

Re: what do i need for the shred?
Handweights and some sort of mat to do abs.
