Totally staged. I've worked with Buddy for some of my clients and things were so calm before this show made the shop a MADHOUSE. He is a great guy, but the story lines are totally "done up"...like taken to a heightened level.

Wow! You actually know him? I'm in awe. I was telling DH I was going to drive up there to get a cake, or just some pastries, after seeing some of these episodes. YUM!
Oh... and I read DH your response and he says, "well, they still could be mob bosses, even if their exaggerating a bit." LOL!
LOL..yes, I've worked with Buddy a lot on cakes for my clients. One of them was in a recent issue of Life and Style magazine actually...a big surprise! Like I said, great guy and family, but bc of the show blowing up, there is now a huge line down the block to get into his shop. His cakes have gone up considerably too...they were pricey before, but wowza. I guess that's what happens when you get your own show!

There is a lot of added drama IMO
They are making Grant's first birthday cake though - their product is yummy!
