yup love it, I also have an Ava, middle name Katherine. People give you a hard time when you pick a more popular name, but I'm really happy with our choice!
we started calling ds by his name weeks before he was born. then dh and i looked through another baby book and found another name we liked so we agreed that we would change his name if it didn't fit when he was born... but the minute he came out i knew it was going to stick! love it!

Her name is Aubri but we just Call her Bri. I wanted to just name her Bri but my other daughters name is Colbi and I'd officially have two cheese babies lol.
I wanted to name her Bristol so the nn could be Bri but H wasn't going for it so it didn't even make the list lol.
Bri fits her, Aubri, I never call her that lol. Overall, I still love her name.
I adore her name. I don't even care that she'll be one of 8 in her class for her entire academic career. I have always thought that the name is beautiful and I still do.
Yep, I love it. Its absolutely perfect. We worry about what we're going to name our next child because we feel like every other name would be second best.
I still like his name, but I wish it weren't so popular. I see so many Logan's.
This EXACTLY. LOL its true tho
Yep! We have a Logan here, too. I love his name, but it is popular. Though I've got to say that IRL I have been seeing a lot of Jacobs and Gavins for boys lately... I only know of one other baby Logan IRL.
I wanted to settle on a name before he was born, but DH insisted that we not finalize the name until we saw him. (I have never understood this) The three names we had picked out were Brady, Gavin, and Logan. I liked them all equally, maybe leaning toward Gavin. When L was born DH took one look at him and chose Logan. He said he looked like a Logan... okay, then! Now I can't imagine him as anything else.
Yes, I love it but have to admit I thought maybe we made a mistake naming him Andersen a few days after he was born. Everyone kept thinking it was his last name! I didn't want him to go through life constantly telling people "yes that is my first name". To make matters worse, his pediatrician asked me if I still wanted to keep his name after he was 6 days old, saying it wasn't too late to change it and why would I want my baby to have two last names?! We no longer see that pediatrician. I love his name and I think it totally fits him and just ignore people's comments.
Love my daughters name. It's Shaughnessy. She's eight now and like me (Karina) and my mother (Marcella) she won't have to worry about someone in her class having the same name as her. On the flip side anything we buy with her name on it must be custom done and we at time run into an issue with the length of her name (11 letters). She has a childrens book called Chrysanthemum that is about a girl with a very long name and how she deals with others just in case she ever needs a reference. So far the only comments have been from adults. Kids couldn't care less.
Re: Do you still like your lo's name?
We still like it. Sometimes I wish we would have spelt it differently.

I love it more and more every day. It suits him well. I really like DD's name too.

Very much so. The only thing I don't like is when people hear it and go "oh, Sebastian is such a nice name." Yes it is, but it's not DS's name!
