So, I was just talking to my massage therapist, who has a son one month younger than DD. We were talking about timeouts, and she is just having her son face the wall for 5-10 seconds. So he has figured out that when he misbehaves the timeout is coming.
The other day she was sitting with her sister and her DS went over to the wall, looked at them, and then turned and faced the wall for about 10 seconds. He then walked back over to them, with his "angry" look on his face, and smacked her sister across the face. then he smiled and hugged her. bwa ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. My therapist was like "oh, sh!t!" and barely kept it together. he was like "it's ok, i already did my timeout"
Re: HILARIOUS toddler story re: timeouts
haha! my niece does this sometimes. well...when she's being whiny she'll say "i need a time out" and go sit on her chair in her corner. it's hilarious!
