S/O "no": What can your LO not resist touching?

Here it's the toilets, book shelf, and refrigerator.

As soon as she hears the fridge door opening, she starts crawling like a maniac from any corner of the house.  Sometimes she manages to get there fast enough to get the blue cheese dressing and apparently that is an accomplishment worth a full minute of evil laughter.

Oh, and having all the books lined up on the shelf is not allowed.  They must come down.

  • pulling over our little garbage cans.  He loves to do this and is not happy until the garbage is spilling out.  Then he moves on.

  • Cords! He's always going for the laptop plug.
  • He is a big fan of paper, plastic, computer, remotes - basically everything that was not intended to be a baby toy.

  • The blinds to our sliding glass door... she LOVES the blinds. Also anything electronic and that she could break like the computer, cell phone, remote.

    Oh, and my hair... ouch

  • Electronics.  OF ALL KINDS.
  • pet food (the gate should finally be delievered on friday! lol)

and the dog's kennel, she tries to crawl in it but it's small so she can't really maneuver it yet.

the cabinet with our tupperwear, she has to pull everything out. I wouldn't mind but we have so much more tupperware than the cabinet can hold so it's tough putting it back! lol.  Plus our cutting board is in there and I don't want that sliding out and hitting her on the head or something.

keys, toilet paper (she loves pulling on it and running!!!), shoes and purses

We took all our toilet paper rolls off the dispensers and set them on the toilet tanks.  Much better!

  • EVERYTHING!!! But more specifically laptop MUST grab at the keys and the cord, phones: I can NOT talk on one without her pulling up to try and grab it from me, remote those are the worst
  • Remote, laptops, digital camera, cell phones, banging her hand on the screen of DH's prized possesion (our big screen tv) and she feels the need to make sure each and every DVD we have is on the floor
  • The remote, cell phones, the laptop, dog's toys, eyeglasses..... i know there is more

  • He's still little, but is just starting to really want to grab the remote control and my cell phone. And he loves to bang on my laptop keyboard.
  • Cords here too! It terrifies me to no end!
  • She doesn't crawl yet so for now it's the remotes and cell phones.
  • Yeah, Quinn likes the books to be around her in a pile. She also is drawn to the media console, the PlayStation 3, the alarm system's electrical hookup (a box plugged into the wall) and lint. Lint goes into her mouth immediately for a quick snack.

  • Cords, the remote, he likes to bang on the TV, anything just out of his reach on the counter, and the baby qtip box. Oh and the night light.

  • cat fur on the floor (which is apparently great for chewing on), DH's PS3, any remote control or cell phone, and DH's Carmex.

    She CANNOT resist!

  • My laptop power cord, my camera's strap, my cell, the remote & the dog's toys are their favs.

  • fire place tools. She climbs onto the hearth - crawls over to the tools - checks to see if we're watching and then tries to touch. She stops touching when I say 'no', but then she'll smile and try to touch with just 1 finger to see if she can get away with it. Quite comical!
  • I think these have all been mentioned but laptop, dog food bowls, remotes, and cords.
  • Anything technology related (remotes, BlackBerry, the phone, laptop, keyboards, mouses)

    Hmm

  • The dog's food and water bowls! She goes straight for them as fast as she can.
  • Right now he's obsessed with chords. . .its unfortunate, we need some kind of blocker. He also takes books of the bookshelves and DVDs off their shelf several times a day *sigh*

He's realized that DH and I have juice or water in our glasses, so he likes to grab at them and try to drink from them. We let him have water in a glass yesterday and he loved it.

And any kind of bag or box must be explored to the fullest extent (obviously we don't let him play with plastic bags).

  • My grocery list. While walking the aisles it's a constant battle to keep it from getting wadded and drooled on.
  • The control key on the laptop. That is the only button she touches. It cracks me up.

Oh, and one of our shelves with the DVDs on it.
