Did anyone else get the H1N1 and seasonal flu vaccines on the same day? I did yesterday and today I have body aches, low fever, nausea. Has anyone else had this experience? Is baby okay?
Umm I hope that "Irachelle80" was kidding when she told you to take aspirin!!! Try tylenol instead!
Aspirin studies have shown to have effects when taking full adult doses during pregnancy. Effects such as: miscarriages, placental abruption, and stunting baby's growth. FYI
but it's a lot more dangerous to get the flu. i got the shot a few weeks ago and saw the heartbeat on tuesday. it was no big deal. i just had bruising and a little rash at the injection site but that was all.
Re: H1N1 and seasonal flu vaccines
I got my shots on different days.
Did your doctor give you some information to read? It should cover side effects. If you are concerned beyond that, give them a call.
Fever, nausea, etc. are common mild side effects.
H1N1 CDC fact sheet
Seasonal flu CDC fact sheet
why? because of the effects?
Your baby is safe when you have a fever and nausea. The babe is well protected in there
