Intro

in 1st Trimester

Hi Ladies! I've been dealing with long cycles (60+ days) for a while and finally got a BFP on Sunday which was CD80! I'm super excited but also absolutely terrified, as I'm sure most of you are :)

The doctor doesn't want to see me until March 5th, which sucks. I'm going to be a mess until then! Someone from their office is supposed to call me back this morning to schedule an U/S though, so at least I have to that to look forward to at the first appointment. 

When did everyone else have their first appt? I'm annoyed my doctor's policy is to wait until 8-10 weeks...

    unless you're having trouble 8 - 10 weeks is normal.

    Congrats! My doctor likes to see her patients between 6-8 weeks (I have my appointment at 7 weeks), but I think my doctor likes to see her patients earlier than most doctors.

    My doctor is seeing me at 8 weeks. It feels like my appointment is so far away!

    Congratulations!  I won't be able to see my doctor until 8 weeks either, and from what I understand that's pretty normal.

    First Congratulations!  I had my first appointment at around 4 weeks but I am considered high risk from past mc and problems I had with my son who was born at 34 weeks.  If you are lucky to be considered "normal" then 8-10 weeks sounds about right!

    I guess I'm just really anxious for the doctor to tell me everything is okay. Also, I don't really "feel" pregnant and I want confirmation that I am :)

    I don't "feel" pregnant yet either.

    I feel for you! I got my BFP last Friday but my first appt won't be until 3/1! March seems so far away right now, but remember, February is a short month! It will be here before you know it!

    I'm the same way.  I don't "feel" pregnant, and every little twinge I feel down there makes me anxious.  Someone posted earlier that they were all about positive affirmations, which I think is good advice.  Hang in there, you aren't alone!!
