Has anyone looking into buying one? Or does anyone already have one? I really love a few of them, and would love to purchase one, but I am hesitant since I cannot view them in the stores. I was looking online for reviews and cannot find any. I also posted this on the nursery board, but I haven't gotten any responses. Thanks
Re: Restoration Hardware cribs
The styling/aesthetics on Restoration's stuff is beautiful, but IMO it's a *lot* of money to spend on stuff that is veneers over hardwood.
If you comparison shop with some other brands (baby bargains recommends some high-end crib manufacturers that may be worth looking in to, at least on-line) and still just really love these cribs and they're in your budget, then go for it.

I was also looking at their cribs and then went to a local furniture store and found another brand - Young America! They are American made and nontoxic! and I was able to look at them. They were onsale and about 1/2 the price of restoration hardware and no veneers over hardwood! In the end we barely spent more than the ones in BabiesRus and it seems higher quality. They have a few crib options and MANY colors and styles for matching furniture! We chose one that changes from crib to toddler bed to a headboard so you can keep using at least part of it.

Something to think about.
i don't know if there's a Restoration Hardware outlet near you, but the one near me ALWAYS has very nice cribs. The ones that are normally $899 run for about $599 at the outlet. Still expensive, but worth looking into if you really want one.
Good luck!
