NBR: anybody read "accidental single girl" blog?

Well... even if you don't..

I just read her most recent post about her hysterectomy (had it because of severe endo, she has no living children :( and they made her stay on the maternity floor, right across from the nursery.  Isn't that awful?!? WTF?  You'd think someone would realize it's not nice to make a woman getting her babymaker taken out recuperate right across from all the babies!!  Ugh... stoopid hospital.

Re: NBR: anybody read "accidental single girl" blog?

  • Ugh..poor girl...

I should read that blog, or maybe I shouldn't:(  Hearing that hits close to home.  My OB suggests that I get pregnant soon or get it taken out because of the damage it's done/doing.....and I have a feeling it's spreading to other places now.

You would think that hospital would have the bedside manner to put her on a recovery floor of some sort...

  • That is common practice. My sister had a a complete hysterectomy last year and she was right across from the nursery! It wasnt so painful for her, as she was 43 and knew she was done having babies, but still... her roommate had just had a D&E due to a loss.... so sad

  • I know her IRL! She's the sweetest. Yeah... The whole recovery on the maternity floor was really crappy. She had always wanted bio children, so it really added insult to injury.
